Launch of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Medical Humanities (AIDMH) and Call for Submissions

Short Description

Artificial Intelligence and Digital Medical Humanities (AIDMH) is officially launched and now welcomes submissions. We invite healthcare practitioners, humanities scholars, technology developers, and other contributors to explore responsible and practically meaningful connections among artificial intelligence, medicine, health, and the humanities.

Announcement Text

We are pleased to announce the launch of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Medical Humanities (AIDMH), an open-access journal that is now accepting submissions from authors worldwide.
AIDMH is a practice-oriented journal for the age of artificial intelligence and follows a continuous publication model. It examines how AI and digital technologies are being introduced into medicine, health, and the humanities, as well as the opportunities, consequences, and risks they create for patients, healthcare professionals, organizations, and society.
The journal asks not only what artificial intelligence means for medicine, but also how it can be used responsibly in specific real-world settings. We welcome work characterized by authenticity, actionability, reusability, transparency, and ethical awareness. Authors are encouraged to clearly describe their methods, evidence, conditions of use, limitations, risks, and requirements for human oversight.

Topics of Interest

Submissions may address topics including, but not limited to:

AI-assisted clinical communication, diagnosis, treatment, nursing, and health management;

Authors are encouraged to provide open data, code, prompts, templates, operational records, and other reusable materials whenever legally and ethically appropriate, and to disclose any use of generative AI.
During its initial stage, AIDMH primarily follows a transparent editorial review process. Specialist reviewers may be invited when additional professional assessment is needed. All submissions must meet the journal’s basic requirements concerning authenticity, research integrity, privacy protection, ethics, and disclosure of competing interests.
We warmly invite healthcare practitioners, humanities scholars, researchers, educators, technology developers, patient organizations, and members of the wider public concerned with the future of medicine and technology to submit, read, test, discuss, and improve the work published in AIDMH.
